Christmas at The Vyne

About this event
Christmas at The Vyne is more than just decorations, it’s a fairy tale journey. Whether you’re coming as a family, a couple on a winter stroll, or treating yourself to a seasonal lunch, it’s a magical way to celebrate the Christmas holidays in a historic, enchanting setting.
- Step into a magical world of fairy tales: wander through the ground floor of The Vyne’s house, where glittering Christmas trees bring to life scenes from beloved stories.
- Discover the Snow Queen’s icy realm in the Stone Gallery.
- Spot Red Riding Hood’s wolf lurking in the further drawing room.
- Admire a Beauty and the Beast-inspired tree, adorned with elegant teacups, clocks, and teapots.
- In the Dining Parlour, catch sight of Rapunzel’s golden braid; in the old kitchen, young visitors can play “which bowl is whose” inspired by Goldilocks & the Three Bears.
- Over in the second-hand bookshop, you’ll find the Ugly Duckling transformed into a proud swan.
- A free family trail guides you through both the house and gardens, with spotter activities, photo opportunities, and games.
- For very young children, there’s a hook-a-duck activity in the gardens.
