As part of a family that is passionate about the authentic pub experience, we believe that being part of the local community is key to achieving this.
That’s why we like to support the local community; helping to promote and support local events, fundraising for local charities and building relationships with fellow groups, teams and businesses in the area…
Local Food and Drink
We are dedicated to sourcing from British farmers and producers and using only sustainable ingredients, so we work hard to build great working relationships with our suppliers, from the gin in our G&Ts and the perfectly cooked steak on your plate, to the oil in your salad and the ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth.
We are also proud members of Hampshire Fare, further championing local ingredients and working together with the county to promote local ingredients and fantastic talent this county has to offer.
As of 2018, we will be supporting the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund; a leading welfare charity with a proud tradition of looking after serving and former members of the RAF, as well as their partners and dependent children.
RAF Odiham is just down the road from us and many of our customers are currently based there or have been involved with the RAF, so we want to help this great cause through a number of initiatives, including donating 20p of every pint of Red Mist Ale sold, to the charity.
Odiham High Street is incredibly lucky to have a voluntary committee called InOdiham who do their very best to raise awareness, to surrounding villages, of all that Odiham has to offer. Not only that, but this hard-working committee also organise special events, finance and maintain the incredibly beautiful high street hanging baskets, manage the weekly Country Market (Fridays) as well as financing and organising the operation of Christmas lights on the high street.
The Christmas Extravaganza is a much-loved and well-attended event, which takes place on Odiham High Street and everyone is welcome. Taking place on Saturday 24th November 2018 from 4 pm – 8 pm you will have the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of festive activity ranging from pop-up craft and food stalls, funfair rides for the kids, entertainment and much more. You will see all the high street businesses open their doors and invite you in to say hello and enjoy the warmth of the Odiham community. Please be aware, a full road closure will be taking place between 12.30 pm – 10 pm from London Road to Church Street. During this time there will be no access to Odiham High Street. Should you need advice on how to reach us at The Red Lion, please do get in touch and speak with Michelle on 01256 701 145.
